Shirt Embellishments

A fun way to spruce up the wardrobe for little or no money is to use some old fabric to make flower embellishments. I used some fabric of a t-shirt that was stained. I added fabric roses to a plain pink shirt and topped it off with a few beads to give the embellishment a little sparkle. I LOVE the outcome!

I see ugly light fixtures like this at Goodwill all the time. Well, how about making it into a beautiful chandelier to give a room some character? It is amazing what white paint and a few embellishments will do to an ugly old light fixture.

The chandelier in the laundry room a few posts below was also and old gold light fixture at Goodwill or DI. You would never guess would you.

Rose Balls

These flower rose balls are beautiful! The perfect decoration for anything girly. Perhaps for a romantic evening as well. They can be hung from the ceiling too. The most expensive part of this craft is the foam ball.

Organized Entry

I love this entry way. A place for kids backpacks and shoes. How wonderful! The shoe holder was made out of a coffee table cut in half! Cheap and smart.

The Cutest Pantry I Have Ever Seen

Okay so this pantry is AMAZING!!! I would never mess up my pantry again if it looked like this! So beautiful! The "wall paper" is a pattern made out of vinyl. Cool hugh!

Here is a beautiful craft room that I just love. So organized...so cute and easy to keep clean. I love the brown walls too!

Boy's Bedroom

I LOVE this bedroom! I had to post a picture so I wouldn't forget how cute it is. I am decorating Ethan's room right now and I am working with the exact same color scheme...greens with dark brown and light wood. This picture is my inspiration for his room. Ethan's room will be a topical surfboard theme mixed with this color scheme. We'll see how it turns out.
